Marie L. (Mastin) McCarthy

Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend

Marie L. (Mastin) McCarthy, 90, of Salem, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 9, 2026, at the Parkland Medical Center.

She was the loving wife of the late William D. McCarthy.

Born in Lawrence, MA, May 8, 1935, the daughter of the late George J. and the late Valentine (Sckettekatt) Mastin, she attended Andover schools and was a graduate Andover High School. 

Marie continued her education, receiving an Associate’s Degree from McIntosh Business School.

Prior to her retirement, Marie was a sales associate at Sears and Roebuck.

She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Rosary Group of Londonderry. Marie also enjoyed playing cards and games with family and friends. 

However, her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Marie is survived by two daughters, Linda M. Nevins and her husband William D. of Pelham, NH, and Sharon L. Giordano and her husband Mark of Merrimack, NH; three grandchildren David O. Nevins of Brooklyn, NY, Kristen M. Rozelsky and her husband Michael of Waltham and Elijah A. Giordano of Merrimack; a brother George Mastin and his wife Kathleen of Taunton, MA; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Thursday morning April 16, 2026, at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at ST. PATRICK CHURCH in PELHAM at 11 o’clock. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in North Andover. E-condolences/directions at www.pelhamfuneralhome.com.
