Michele “Mickey” A. (Lemieux) Kanan

Beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin;

Michele “Mickey” A. (Lemieux) Kanan, 58, of Hudson, New Hampshire, passed away Monday, November 28, 2022 at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, NH after a brief illness.

She was the loving wife for over 22 years of Laurence M. Kanan, who survives her.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, August 24, 1964, the daughter of Maurice J. Lemieux of Hudson, FL and his wife Vivian Sullivan and the daughter of Barbara A. (Newell) Brodeur of Pelham, NH, she received her education through the Lowell school system.

Mickey worked as an Consultant for Miracle Ear in their Andover, and Tewksbury, MA offices.

She loved singing and performing music, relaxing on the beach, binge watching Hallmark movies, and  spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Beside for her husband, Mickey is survived by two daughters Tayla N. Lemieux and her fiancé Brian Lacourse of Derry, NH, and Emily M. Kanan of Hudson, NH; two granddaughters Sophia L. Lemieux of Hooksett, NH, and Autumn H. Lemieux of Merrimack, NH; five siblings Bob Hoey and his wife Michele of Lowell, MA, Barbara Hoey of Pelham, NH, Sherry Hallenborg of Hampton,  NH, Gary Hoey and his wife Nicole of Pelham, NH, and Charmaine (Lemieux) Pintal and her husband Eric of Pelham, NH; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mickey was the mother of the late Corey James Lemieux, who passed away on February 24, 2019.
