Mildred J. "Milly" (Gawlik) Dailey
Beloved mother, grand and great grandmother and sister;
Mildred J. "Milly" (Gawlik) Dailey, 89, a longtime resident of Pelham, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 16, 2024 at Salemhaven in Salem, New Hampshire surrounded by her loving family.
She was the loving wife of the late Robert E. Dailey who died January 22, 2013.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Frederick and the late Beatrice (Dupre) Gawlik, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1951.
A fulltime Mom, Milly enjoyed painting, gardening and spending time with her husband and family in Boynton Beach, FL and Barnstead, NH. She was very social and was most happy when she was with her family and dear friends.
Milly is survived by her two daughters Kathleen Schubert and her husband Barry of Derry, NH and Colleen Dailey of North Chelmsford, MA; a son Owen Dailey and his wife Lynda of Peterborough, NH; four grandchildren Jennifer Meininger and her husband Jeff of Lexington, MA, Alex Schubert of Las Vegas, NV, Tracie L. Dailey and Robert O. Dailey both of Peterborough, NH; two great grandchildren Maeve and Riley Meininger; a sister Vivian Gonsalves of Hudson, NH a brother Frederick Gawlick of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Genevieve Kobiela.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday morning May 23, 2024, at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. followed by her Funeral Mass at St. Patrick Church in Pelham at 11 o'clock. Her burial will be held on Friday morning May 24th at the State of New Hampshire VA Cemetery in Boscowan, NH at 10:30 A.M. (Please meet at Cemetery).
