Rita R. Guzdowski

Loving mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother;

Rita R. (Rondina) Guzdowski, 97, of Pelham, New Hampshire, passed away on December 22, 2023, peacefully at the All-American Assisted Living in Londonderry, NH surrounded by her beloved family.

Born in Norwich, CT, August 15, 1926, the daughter of the late Inocent and the late Mary T. (Giovani) Rondina, she attended Norwich schools and was a graduate of Norwich High School.

Prior to her retirement, Rita was an assembler with Microwave Associates in Burlington, MA where she worked for over 31 years. She also worked at Harris’ Pelham Inn as a waitress for over 30 years.

Rita was a communicant of St. Patrick Church in Pelham.  She was also an active member of the Parish Ladie’s Guild for many years and made so many special relationships along the way.

Rita loved life and loved her family and friends more than anything.  She was so grateful for all the time she was able to share with her 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  She was a prayerful woman of strength and taught the family to always be positive and thankful for their blessings.  She loved spending time at the beach with her daughters, and she loved to travel, cook, clean, garden, and read.   

She is survived by her son-in-law Kenneth Kearney of Hampton Beach, NH; five grandchildren Karen Lindquist of Amherst, NH, Kristen Lochhead of Milford, NH, Jen LaPointe and her husband Nicolas of North Hampton, NH, Janice Lindquist of Manchester, NH and Ryan J. Kearney and his wife Catherine of Londonderry, NH; 9 great grandchildren Abigail, Aiden, Jake, Alice, Gavin, Olivia, Nathan, Elisabeth, and Cory.

Rita was predeceased by her daughter, Carol Lindquist and her husband Andy Lindquist; her daughter Linda Kearney; her brother John Rondina; and her sister Vivian Richard.

Friends may call for a Memorial Visitation on Saturday December 30, 2023, at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. followed by her Memorial Funeral Mass at ST.
