Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather

Robert A. Carito, 68, a resident of Pelham, NH, died Saturday October 1, 2022 at Massachusetts General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Corazon (Casipe) Carito who survives him.
Born in Lowell on July 29, 1954, he was a son of the late Angelo and Josephine (Romano) Carito and was a graduate of Lowell High School. He also attended Salem State College and University of Massachusetts Lowell Campus.
For many years, Mr. Carito was the part owner of Hanover Leather and Findings in Lowell.
Mr. Carito was an avid Boston sports fan and followed the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. He enjoyed reading and all of the Boston radio sports talk shows.
In addition to his wife Cora, he is survived by a daughter, Christina J. Carito of Pelham, NH; a beloved grandson, Ace Carito-Afzaal; a brother, Anthony Carito and his wife Carol Palmer of Sterling, MA; a sister, Marian Rice of Pelham MA; one aunt, Mary Sabelli of Lynn, MA and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was the brother of the late Rosalind Carito who died in 2012.
Friends may call at the Pelham Funeral Home, 11 Nashua Rd. Pelham, NH on Friday October 7, 2022 from 4 to 7 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass to be celebrated Saturday morning at St. Patrick’s Church in Pelham at 10 o’clock.  Burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Tewksbury.
