Robert F. Grue

Robert F. "Bob" Grue, 80 years old of Pelham and Windham, New Hampshire passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 19, 2021 after enduring the affects of Alzheimer’s Disease.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Beverly (Willis), their sons, Eric Grue and his wife Jennifer Nugent of Windham, NH, and Seth Grue of Brighton, MA.

Bob was born in Somerville, MA on March 6, 1940 to the late Frank Grue and the late Irene (Swanson) Grue.  He was predeceased by his siblings Phyllis (Grue) Humbert and James Grue, but is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A veteran of the Vietnam War, Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for six years.

Bob worked as a sheet-metal worker, a.k.a. “tin knocker”, for Charles P. Blouin throughout New England until his retirement in 2005.  He was also a member of the Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 17 of Boston earning his 50 year Service Pin.

Bob was a dedicated member of the Community Group of Cobbetts Pond in Windham, NH. He also enjoyed his pets, going for walks, playing cards, traveling, rebuilding cars, and helping others.

His greatest joy was his sons and spending time with family and friends.
