Roger R. Lemieux

Beloved brother and uncle;

Roger R. Lemieux, 80, of Peterborough, New Hampshire, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Monadnock Hospital in Peterborough.

Born in Salem, NH, April 8, 1945, the son of the late Gerard E. and the late Jeannette M. (Boucher) Lemieux, he attended Alvirne High School and graduated in the class of 1965.

After high school, Roger joined the United States Army and served his country honorably in Vietnam during the Vietnam War in the Medical Service Corps. He received several medals and commendations, including the Gallantry Cross with a Silver Star, a Bronze Star with Valor, and the National Defense Service Medal. He retired from the army honorably in 1968.

In his spare time, Roger enjoyed arts and crafts and woodworking. He was also an avid gardener and farmer.

He is survived by five sisters, Jeannette Lemieux of Salem, NH, Irene Groulx of Salem, NH, Theresa Tourville and her husband Maurice of Salem, NH, Loraine Reale and her husband John of Londonderry, NH, and Diane Brin of Hudson, NH; two brothers, Roland Lemieux and his wife Denise of Pelham, NH, and Robert Lemieux of Salem, NH; and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Richard Lemieux.

Friends may call on Friday, December 26, 2025, at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME, 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 2 to 4 P.M. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday morning, December 27, 2025, at ST.
