Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister,

Rosemary J. (Riess) Dole, 91, of North Andover, Massachusetts, but formerly longtime resident

of Pelham, New Hampshire, passed away on Saturday May 18, 2024, at home.

She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas F. Dole who died April 25, 1988.

Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, March 3, 1933, the daughter of the late Warren A. and the late Irene (Cormier) Riess, she was a graduate of Nazareth Academy in Wakefield.

Prior to her retirement, Rosemary worked as a Telephone Operator for Verizon, previously known as New England Telephone for over 30 years.

Amongst her many interests, Rosemary’s priority was her family. She loved being a member of St. Patrick’s parish, a member of the Woman’s Guild, singing with the New Greeley Singers, plants, and gardening. She also loved playing Rummy 500 and spending time with her birds. Oh, you can’t forget chocolate!

She is survived by five children: Bradford E. Jones of Williston, Florida, Kathleen A. Wunderlich and her husband Richard of Methuen, MA, Patricia L. Donovan and her husband Richard of Lowell, MA, Rosemarie Field of Reseda, California, and Stephanie L. Jones of North Andover, MA; ten grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren; a sister Jeanne Kydd of Raymond, NH; a brother Charles Riess and his wife Sharon of Columbia, IL; a step brother John Phillips and his wife Joanne of Brewster, MA, two half sisters, Karen Riess and Bill Rogers of Alton NH and Peg Curewitz and her husband Steve of West Peabody, MA, and many nieces and nephews.

She was also the mother of the late Theresa "Terri" Evans who died May 28, 2018.

Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM, NH, on Friday May 24, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday May 25, 2024, at ST.
