Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt
Ruth D. (Tetrault) Proulx, 74, of Dracut, died peacefully on Thursday January 23rd at her daughter’s residence in Pelham. She was the beloved wife of the late Russell G. Proulx who died in 2006.
Born in Clinton, Massachusetts, October 13, 1945, a daughter of the late Francis and the late Pearl (Mayes) Tetrault, she received her education in the Lowell school system.
Before retiring, Ruth was employed as an Inspector with Raytheon Corporation in South Lowell and Andover for over 30 years.
Among her many interests, she loved playing bingo and enjoyed watching various game shows on television.
Ruth is survived by two daughters Terry J. Hanson of Pelham with whom she resided and Victoria A. Geisler and her husband Glenn of Rochester, NY; a son Lee R. Proulx and his wife Melissa of Sanford, ME; five grandchildren Tanya Pickering, Leda Hanson, Yvonne Geisler, Shadrack Geisler and Sonya Ervin; nine great-grandchildren; a sister Ann Graff of Hudson, MA; two brothers James Tetrault of Marlboro, MA and Ernest Tetrault and his wife Laurie of Littleton, NH; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also Nana to the late Eric Geisler and sister of the late Mary Hatch and the late Charlotte Bourgeois.
