Sally A Leahy
Loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend;
Sally A. (Chamberlain) Leahy, 84, of Pelham, New Hampshire, died Tuesday September 14, 2021 at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by her family after a brief illness.
She was the beloved wife of the late John D. Leahy, Sr.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, September 14, 1937, the daughter of the late Leslie E. Chamberlain and the late Maude L. (Crowell) Gotham Davis, she attended Tyngsboro schools and Greater Lowell Vocational Technical High School.
Before retirement, Sally was a cafeteria worker for the Tyngsborough School system for many years.
Among her several interests, Sally enjoyed cooking, shopping, doing puzzles, being with her fur babies Penny and Noah, but her most favorite times was when she was with her family.
Sally is survived by her son John D. Leahy, Jr. and his wife Kristen of Pelham, NH; three daughters Sally A. Willette of Pelham, NH, Donna L. Devries and her partner Lee Werling of Derry, NH and Diane L. Judson of Nashua, NH; four granddaughters Stacy Becker and husband Scott of Derry, NH, Aryana Thompson and her husband Ethan of Pelham, NH, Shaylyn Bourbeau and her wife Bryanna of Litchfield, NH and Natalie Judson of Nashua, NH; four grandsons Christopher Lafortune and companion Tonitia of Haverhill, John D. Leahy, III of Dracut, Christopher Judson and his wife Victoria of Amherst, NH and Robert Judson of Lowell; seven great grandchildren Lily, Caden, Kenzy, Avah, Sutton, Davina and Jack; a brother Edward Gotham and his wife Rita of Hudson, NH, sister in-law Patricia Chamberlain of Meredith, NH; several nieces and nephews,
She was also the grandmother of the late Jonathan P. Leahy who died in 2007.
Also preceded in death brother Walter Chamberlain, sister Patricia Myers, sons-in-law Jeffrey "jeff" Judson and Hugh "Bill" Devries
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Graveside Committal Prayer Service on Monday September 20, 2021 at the GIBSON CEMETERY in PELHAM at 11 o’clock.
