Salvatore F. “Sonny” Passalaqua
Beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother;
Salvatore F. “Sonny” Passalaqua, 78, of Pelham, New Hampshire passed away peacefully on Monday March 22, 2021 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.
He was the loving husband for over 56 years to Joyce M. (Bunker) Passalaqua who survives him.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, February 18, 1943, the son of the late Salvatore B. and the late Stella (Jaworski) Passalaqua, he attended Billerica schools and was a graduate of Billerica High School Class of 1961. He went on to graduate from Cambridge School of Broadcasting.
Prior to his retirement, Sonny was an electrical engineer with Virtech in Nashua, NH where he worked for over 30 years.
Sonny was hard working, loyal and would do anything for his family. He was always active and took great pride in home projects such as building an addition on his home.
Sal and his family relished many fun memories on camping and boating trips to Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. Later in life, he enjoyed driving his RV with his wife Joyce and dog Baxter to visit his daughters in South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida.
To family and friends alike, Sal was known as a good man, strong and silent, but a sweet person underneath.
Besdies his wife, Sonny is survived by his three daughters Dianne Greenan and her husband Scott of Palm Harbor, FL, Darlene Roberge and her husband Marc of Hunterville, NC and Laurie Passalaqua and her husband Nate Mullett of Fort Mill, SC; five grandchildren Stephanni and Julianna Greenan, Alexis Roberge, Ethan Bright and River Mullett; his brothers Billy Passalaqua of Billerica and Anthony Passalaqua of Billerica; many nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late John Passalaqua.
Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 4 to 7 P.M. Monday March 29, 2021.
