Shannon Clare Walsh
Beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and friend;
Shannon Clare Walsh, 25, of Pelham, New Hampshire passed away on Monday March 20, 2023.
She was born at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut on August 12, 1997 to her devoted parents, Kevin and Kimberly (Prutting) Walsh of Pelham.
A 2015 graduate of Kimball Union Academy and collegiate soccer player for the University of Connecticut, Shannon was a genuine, kind spirit, whose smile was contagious to all those around her. Her sense of humor was effortless and had the ability to brighten anyone’s day.
Shannon was an employee for Washington Savings Bank for several years. Whether in or out of work, her happiness was always derived from spending quality time with the people she loved most.
There was no one more excited for the holidays or family tradition than Shannon, which demonstrated her deep passion and devotion to her friends and family. She often spent her time going to the Patriots with her Dad, playing in coed soccer leagues, watching the Celtics, and participating in game night with her friends.
In addition to Shannon’s loving parents, she is survived by her two younger sisters, Morgan K. Walsh and Ashlyn S. Walsh of Pelham, her grandfather, Frederick J. Walsh of Vernon, CT, her uncle Tim Walsh of Las Vegas, Nevada, her uncle and aunt Brian and Christy Walsh of Colchester CT, her uncle Scott Prutting of East Northport NY, her uncle John Prutting of Atlantic City NJ, her aunt and uncle Carrie and Mike Trezza of Syosset NY and cousins John, Meghan and Bridget. Shannon’s boyfriend, Martin E. Kelly of Tyngsborough, MA. was a very special part of her life.
Shannon touched the lives of many and was deeply loved by those around her. She will be greatly missed, especially by her mother, father, sisters, grandfather, uncles, cousins, boyfriend, and dogs, Winston and Bauer.
Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM on Sunday March 26, 2023, from 2 to 6 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated Monday morning at ST. PATRICK CHURCH in PELHAM at 10 o’clock.
