Sharon (Lessieur) L’Heureux, 79, of Pelham, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Webster at Rye, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on July 29, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Fred H. Lessieur and Blanche (DuGrenier) Lessieur. She attended Dracut schools and graduated from Dracut High School with the Class of 1964.
Sharon began her career as a cosmetologist after attending Lowell Academy of Hairdressing and later worked for many years in the electronics industry as an Engineering Assistant in research and development.
Sharon was a woman of deep faith who loved her God, Jehovah. Her life was centered on her family, and she found particular joy and purpose in caring for her grandchildren. She was actively involved in their daily lives, often welcoming them in the mornings with homemade pancakes and waffles, and she took great pride in being consistently present for them. Sharon shared an especially close bond with her daughters, serving not only as a mother but also as a trusted confidante and lifelong friend. To those who knew her, she was a dependable and reassuring presence, known for her kind and composed nature. She found pleasure in life’s simple pursuits, including gardening, crafting, and knitting, and took quiet satisfaction in meaningful, everyday routines.
She is survived by her daughters, Tracy L. Sacca of Pelham, NH, and Shelly A. L’Heureux of Lowell, MA; her grandchildren, Devon, Dylan, and Drew Sacca, all of Pelham, NH; her sisters, June Lurvey of Portsmouth, NH, and Janice Costello of Dracut, MA; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Steven L’Heureux; the sister of the late Susan Foss; and her former husband the late Dennis S. L’Heureux.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Webster at Rye and Harborside Hospice for the compassionate care and kindness shown to Sharon.
