Sheila "Mame" D. Elliott

Loving Mother, Grandmother

Sheila "Mame" Elliott passed away due to a long battle with illness, surrounded by family on December 29th, 2024. She was married to the love of her life, the late Donald Elliott.

They were survived by their daughter Lauren Elliott, Grandsons Justin Guilbault and his wife Bobbiejo Guilbault and Raymond Cowham, also by great grandkids Nola Cowham, The late Jordan Frost, Kiara Frost, Donavan Frost, Dustin Frost, and Alex Santana. Also by her Great Great-Grandson Amariion Frost. She also had 3 sisters Mary Ellen, Pat and Jean.

She attended Lowell High School from 1951-55. She was very proud of her work with the ROTC. She went onto U Lowell, studied Childhood Education, and graduated with a degree in the subject. Then she began her illustrious career as a teacher at Heathbrook for 2 years, and then went on to the CW Morey school teaching 3rd grade for 47 joyful years. She took great pleasure in educating kids who were attending the same elementary school she herself did, Until her retirement.

After her retirement, she enjoyed many hobbies, such as acrylic painting, collecting pottery, glass, and other homemade crafts. She even owned a gift shop in Hampton for a short period.

She then enjoyed her twilight by helping to raise her great great grandson and great granddaughter every single day.

There will be a private service held for immediate and close family. If interested in attending, please reach out to a close family member directly.
