Beloved husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, and brother

Simon S. Roe, 68, of Pelham, New Hampshire, died Tuesday, October 15 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, following a brief illness.

He was the husband for over 17 years of Patricia M. (Collins) Roe, who survives him.

Born in Hull, England, June 25, 1956, he was a son of the late Norman and Gwladys (Spencer) Roe. Simon received his education in England and drove tractor trailers for work before moving to the United States in 2007. Simon continued to work in the transportation industry driving trucks for City Packing in Boston, MA for 14 years before retiring.

Simon was a member of the Merrimack Valley New Hampshire Chapter of US Spyder Ryders and spent countless hours on the open road. He also was an avid sailor and owned a boat, so if he wasn’t on the road, he was on the water.

Aside from his wife Patricia, Simon is survived by a daughter, Claire Chapman and her husband Richard of England; a son, Andrew Roe and his wife Sarah of England; a stepson, Jay A. Oczkowski and his wife Laura of Seabrook, NH; six grandchildren; a sister, Jeannette Ridgewood of England; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME, 11 NASHUA RD. Pelham, NH on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 9:00 to 10:30 AM.
