Retired Owner of former TLC Child Care in Pelham;

Susan C. “Sue” Bahrakis, 61, of Pelham, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully Tuesday July 27, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was the beloved wife for 45 years of Gary R. Bahrakis, (owner of Pelham Landscaping), who survives her.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, August 16, 1959, the daughter of the late Robert and the late Claire (Paquette) Provost, she received her education in the Tyngsboro school system.

For most of her life, Sue dedicated herself to a career in child-care as the owner and operator of the former TLC Child Care in Pelham, New Hampshire which she operated for almost 30 years.
Over that time span several hundred children passed through her facility and programs on their way to grammar school, high school and beyond. She has maintained longtime relationships with many of her former students to this day.

In addition, Sue enjoyed time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her large extended family of former students.

Besides her husband, Sue is survived by three grandchildren Mariah Bahrakis, Sebastian Bahrakis and Simon Bahrakis all of Pelham; three brothers Roger Provost and his wife Lorraine of Hudson, NH, Wilfred Provost of Maine and Armand Provost and his wife Sandy of Florida; three sisters Darlene Tellier of the Carolinas, Nancy DeLoria of Maine and Donna DeLoria of Florida; her sister-in-law Patty Ann Bahrakis of Woodstock, VT.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was also the mother of the late Gary R. Bahrakis, Jr. and Steven M. Bahrakis.

Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM Monday August 2, 2021 from 3 to 8 P.M. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday morning at ST. PATRICK CHURCH in PELHAM at 10 o’clock followed by her burial in the Gibson Cemetery. E-condolences/directions at www.pelhamfuneralhome.com.
